At BookYatri.com, we understand that travel plans may change. This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines how bookings can be canceled and under what conditions refunds may be processed. Our goal is to ensure transparency and fairness for all users while adhering to our partner providers’ terms.
1. General Terms

BookYatri.com acts as a facilitator for bookings made through airlines, hotels, tour operators, and third-party service providers.

All refund and cancellation requests are subject to the respective provider’s policies.

We help process your request but do not have control over the timeline or outcome once a service provider’s rules apply.
2. Flight Bookings
2.1 Cancellation by User

Most flights are non-refundable unless otherwise mentioned at the time of booking.

If the airline allows cancellation, standard airline cancellation fees apply.

BookYatri charges a service fee of ₹200 per passenger per flight (in addition to airline charges).
2.2 Cancellation by Airline

In case of flight cancellation by the airline, the airline’s refund policy will apply.

Refunds will be processed by BookYatri only after receiving confirmation from the airline.
2.3 Refund Timeline

Refunds (if eligible) will be processed within 7–14 business days.

Refunds will be returned to the original payment method (Razorpay, PayPal, UPI, etc.).
3. Hotel Bookings
3.1 Cancellation by User

Hotels have different cancellation policies (e.g., free up to 24–48 hours before check-in).

Non-refundable bookings are clearly labeled during checkout.

If eligible, cancellations can be requested via My Bookings or by emailing us.
3.2 No-Show Policy

If you fail to check-in without canceling, no refund will be issued.

You may still be charged for the full stay.
3.3 Refund Timeline

Refunds are issued based on the hotel’s confirmation and policy.

Processing may take 7–14 business days after approval.
4. Holiday Packages & Tours
4.1 Cancellation Policy

Package cancellations are governed by the specific tour operator or travel provider.

Some packages may involve flights, hotels, and local activities – each with individual policies.

BookYatri charges a processing fee of ₹500 per package cancellation.
4.2 Last-Minute Cancellations

Cancellations within 72 hours of the travel date are usually non-refundable.

Exceptions may apply in cases of medical emergencies (with valid proof).
5. Cab & Airport Transfers

Most cabs can be canceled up to 2 hours before pickup without charge.

Late cancellations or no-shows may result in 100% cancellation charges.
6. Refund Method & Timeline

Refunds are issued to the original payment method:

Razorpay (Credit/Debit Card, UPI, Net Banking)

PayPal (for international customers)

Refunds typically take 7–14 business days, depending on the payment gateway and provider.
⚠️ In some cases, bank delays or third-party provider reviews may extend the refund timeline.
7. Important Notes

BookYatri is not responsible for delays or denial of refunds by airlines, hotels, or tour operators.

Processing fees charged by BookYatri are non-refundable.

Refunds cannot be processed for bookings that have already been used, partially consumed, or disputed after completion.
8. How to Request a Refund or Cancel a Booking

Log in to your account → Go to My Bookings → Select the booking → Click Cancel or Request Refund
